1964              Born in the Hague. The Netherlands.

1964-2010     Expat living in Holland, Germany, Turkey, and Belgium. Extensive travel.

1995              Long Distance Cyclist. Raised funds for American Red Cross Disaster Relief by

                      cycling the West Coast International Bicycle Classic: 1662 miles in 25 days.

1998-2000  “The Learning Garden” Author and facilitator of an original educational program model integrating the arts with core subjects to create a topiary garden on the front grounds of the school with the students of Davidson International Baccalaureate Middle School.Coordinated project with guest lectures and demonstrations from artist Pearl Fryar. Raised funds for the project with an auction of original topiary sculptures. Project generated publication in local news magazines, television coverage, and interest from higher educational  professionals studying the International Baccalaureate Educational Model and the arts.
