1964-2010     Expat living in Holland, Germany, Turkey, and Belgium. Extensive travel.

1995              Long Distance Cyclist. Raised funds for American Red Cross Disaster Relief  by

                      cycling the West Coast International Bicycle Classic: 1662 miles in 25 days.

2014     "Cardinal Cake" was selected by the St.Louis Cardinals Baseball Team for STL250's Cakeway to the West celebrating the 250th Birthday of the City of  St. Louis. Installed at  BUSCH STADIUM, St. Louis, MO for STL250 six months.

2014     "Raven Cake" was selected by STL250 and RAC for Jefferson Barracks Historic Site St. Louis, MO for STL250 Cakeway to the West. One year installation. Sold at the STL250 auction to art collector to benefit the renewal of public spaces in St. Louis.

2014-17     "Rolling Hills Landscape Cake” was selected by STL250 and RAC for the Pere Marquette State Park Lodge in Grafton Missouri celebrating the STL250 Cakeway to the West. Installation to 2017. Recently acquired for a Private Collection.                       

2014-19     "Lady Bug Cake" was selected by STL250 and RAC for the City of East St.Louis Municipal Building and Offices of City of St. Louis Mayor Alvin Parks.  Ongoing on site installation into 2020.

1998-2000  “The Learning Garden” Author and facilitator of an original educational program model integrating the arts with core subjects to create a topiary garden on the front grounds of the school with the students of Davidson International Baccalaureate Middle School.Coordinated project with guest lectures and demonstrations from artist Pearl Fryar. Raised funds for the project with an auction of original topiary sculptures. Project generated publication in local news magazines, television coverage, and interest from higher educational  professionals studying the International Baccalaureate Educational Model and the arts. Traveled to Boston, MA to present project to Jessica Davis, Arts in Education Director at Harvard Graduate School of  Education and Professor Ju-i Yuan, Harvard Visiting Scholar from National Taipei Teachers College, Taiwan.
